The METS have started construction on their new stadium, which will be located in the outfield parking lot. There will be around 2000 parking spots lost due to construction. This situation will become even more difficult when the US Open begins the weekend of August 26th and lasts until September 10th. We greatly encourage the US Open, METS, and the general park attendees to use Mass Transit to avoid the severe traffic problems, which will occur during this very busy time at the park.
